Easy homemade sloppy joe

So one evening I got this craving for sloppy joes. But, I had no mix! Then....with a smack to the head....I looked up a few recipes. found what they had in common and picked out the easiest one! WOOHOO!!
I like easy!

Awsome Sloppy Recipe!!!
1 lb ground beef
(I didn't thaw mine out. Just tossed it in the pan and went at it!)

2 -3 stalks celery, chopped
(I didn't have celery, so I used a dash of Celery Salt)

1 small onion, chopped
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite, we use Open Pit)
1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
(Didn't have this either...but I had plain yellow mustard in the fridge!)

salt and pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
Directions:

In a large skillet, brown ground beef, celery and onion.

Drain the fat, who needs it?.

Stir in remaining ingredients, simmer covered, 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

If Joes appear too'loose', leave cover off and let moisture evaporate.

Cook until it's the consistency you like for serving on toasted buns, with french fries and cole slaw.

So once again, not my recipe....but it was great! I love trying out other's recipes and sharing my favorites! The kids actually ate this as did my hubbs! I was a smug happy mama that evening! I'll be making this once more sometime soon. It is just so good!
